Managers are also responsible for ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, maintaining quality standards, and resolving conflicts. Managers are often detail-oriented, analytical, and consistent.

The difference between leadership and management can be summarized as follows:

A good manager ought to have leadership skills to help in inspiring and motivating his subordinates towards achieving the organization’s goals.
